LETTER ACROSS THE PACIFIC

We want our kids to have more opportunities to practice their Mandarin, and also to explore the Chinese culture by connecting with real people from China. This will help motivate our students on continuously learning the language in the long term. Having this in mind, Mr. Pan finds local schools from China in his network and connect them to the schools here in the United States to start this Penpal program.

The program connects students in the United States and China; they share their lives while practicing language; and it successfully launched last school year and is continuing.
